Westmeath Community Development in conjunction, Department of Social Protection delivers Bespoke Deli/Retail Course

Are you interested in training as a Barista?

OR

Are you interested in fashion retail?

If you are interested in working in a coffee house, café, the hospitality industry or the retail industry and wish to gain the most up to date skills and knowledge then this course is for you.

Who should apply: Anyone who is currently unemployed and on a DSP payment   


There are 8 units of study:

Unit 1 Customer Service                    Unit 2: Health and Safety   

Unit 3: Barista Training                     Unit 4: Deli Training             

Unit 5: HACCP                                   Unit 6: Manual Handling

Unit 7: Fashion Retail Styling             Unit 8: Store security Procedures  

Unit 9: Visual merchandising and window dressing                   

Unit 10: Employability Skills

 

Location:                                     Mullingar Westmeath Community Development Training Dept

Duration & Time:                         8 weeks full time Monday to Friday from 10 to 4 pm

Start date:                                   Monday 27th April 2015

Number of places:                       14 places on course

Eligibility criteria:                        People 18 years + who are unemployed & in receipt of a DSP payment 

 

Application & selection process includes the following:

  • Application form – registration by email only
  • Closing date for applications Friday 17th April
  • Interviews for course Monday 20th April
