Traveller Pride Photography Exhibition

Valerie Hynes, Designated Public Health Nurse for Travellers, Longford/Westmeath, Colette Tuohy Westmeath Traveller Project, Caroline Nevin Westmeath Traveller Project and Susan Fay, Legal Centre, Irish Traveller Movement at the Launch of Photography Exhibition.

This exhibition was a part of Traveller Pride Week 2013 and was a celebration of the contribution Travellers make both their own community and Irish society as a whole, through their culture, unique history and tradition.

The photography exhibition which was held in the Atrium of the County Council Buildings this week was a huge success. On display all the week were the photographs that were gathered from the Traveller families in Westmeath by the Traveller Project.
