Westmeath Community Development -LCDP Life Long Learning Grants 2013

WCD are pleased to announce their grant scheme available for groups/ organisations wishing to undertake training/education projects, for young people aged 16-25 who have LEFT the formal education system.

 Eligible activities

  • Development of projects to identify and create education and training opportunities for young people who have left school at an early age. This may include Literacy and Numeracy supports.
  • Supports for “Transition to Working Life” type projects which should include links with Employers
  • Projects can include Tutor Costs, Equipment, Materials required for training and Travel costs for Employer visits.

Grant amount available €1,500- €4000 per project

Closing date: Friday 17th MAY @ 5pm

Projects should be focused on RAPID areas in Athlone/Mullingar or other designated disadvantaged rural areas.
