2. Would you like to learn more about the job opportunities or gain excellent practical skills and valuable knowledge in this field of work? If yes then this course could be for you.
Who should apply: Anyone who interested in working in the accommodation services area.
Course Content:
There are 6 units of study:
Unit 1: Safety & Health at Work QQI 5
Unit 2: Accommodation Services QQI 4
Unit 3: Team Working QQI 5
Unit 4: Employability Skills
Unit 5: Manual Handling
Unit 6: Bike Start Certificate Course
Assessment of Learning:
All participants will undertake the following Assessment Methods for the above modules:
• Written theory assignments and Practical skills demonstrations
Venue: Course delivered from Bridgeways Family Resource Ctr, Ballymahon
Duration & Time: 7 weeks – 3 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Start date: 6th November 2018 – from 10 am to 4 pm each day
Number of places: 14 places on course
Eligibility criteria: Individuals (17 years +) who are job seeking and interested in working in the hospitality industry as an accommodation assistant.
Educational level: Very good level of oral and written English required
100 % attendance on course is required.
