Vacancy: Teachers sought for help with Homework Clubs

WCD without LTDPrimary School Teachers are currently being sought by Westmeath Community Development to help with  homework clubs which will operate from Monday to Thursday for one hour per day in Athlone and Mullingar.

Payment will be made to suitable candidates at the rate of €23 gross. 

The children taking part in the homework clubs are children of asylum seekers in direct provision accommodation in Athlone and Syrian Refugees in Mullingar who require assistance with various aspects of their homework.

The successful applicants will need to have Garda clearance and will be required to sign up to safeguarding protocols and will start work with the projects in January 2019.

The Homework Club is funded under the SICAP programme.
