Westmeath Community Development’s Annual Traveller Pride Day took place in Grange, Mullingar last week on Friday 19th July 2019.

Christine Joyce and Caroline Nevin, WCD Traveller Programme, worked hard on making the day a huge success and had many activities available to those who attended. 

Amongst the things to see on the day was an original Wagon which would have been used by the Travelling Community in years gone by.  A Tin Smith was also on site making tin cups and the young ones were kept entertained by a talent contest, balloons and face painting.
