Westmeath County Council (WCC) in partnership with Westmeath Community Development, WSP, WCC STEM Officer, Local Area Integration Team (LAIT) and Westmeath PPN are hosting a countywide play day for all.
It will be hosted in Mullingar Town Park, on Thursday 9th July 2026 from 10am to1pm
The event will offer a range of activities including sports, fun games and recreational opportunities. The park also has several playgrounds on offer suitable for children of all ages and a skate park which will cater for the older children.
The event will bring a festive feel to the park with a DJ playing music, face painters and circus skills entertainers will be performing throughout the morning. WCC STEM Officer will showcase Vex Robotics skills and encourage children to take part, a karate class will also be included.
A dedicated soft play/ sensory area will be provided for families who wish to avail of this facility.
Families are encouraged to bring picnics, spend time together, sing, laugh and enjoy the green space and outdoor fun!
This is a FREE EVENT – Open to All.
