Westmeath Community Development would like would like to offer you the opportunity to participate in FREE QQI training in Athlone. The Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) are funding the training.
Care of the Older Person QQI level 5
Thursdays 10th, 17th, 24th September, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd October 2026 from 10am - 3pm each Thursday
Special Needs Assisting QQI level 5
Thursdays 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th Nov, 3rd & 10th December 2026 from 10am - 3pm each Thursday
| Venue: | Garrycastle GAA Club |
| Time: | 1 class per week from 10am - 3pm every Thursday |
| Duration: | 6 weeks ( 1 class per week) |
| Educational level: | Good level of oral and written English required |
Who is eligible to apply?
- Anybody who is currently unemployed, on a CE/Tús Scheme or working part-time
- You must be interested in working as a SNA/in healthcare
- You must be living in Co. Westmeath
- You do not need to be on a payment to participate
Only individuals interested in working in healthcare or SNA sectors should apply.
100 % attendance is required for each course.
