Invitation to Tender: Production of a Video-Based Case Study

Westmeath Community Development (WCD) is one of the 49 Local Development Companies in Ireland, and deliver a range of services for communities and individuals in Co Westmeath. WCD delivers the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) in Westmeath whose primary objective is to combat poverty, promote social inclusion, and foster equality in Ireland through supporting communities and individuals using community development approaches, engagement and collaboration.

Purpose of the video case study

Each year we produce a case study showcasing the work and impact of SICAP on the ground.

This year’s case study will focus on the role and impact of SICAP in the formation and development of Local Community Groups seeking to address issues faced by the community in the Relic Road/Brosna  area in Kilbeggan. 

 

What is required:

  • Production of a video case study
  • Video must be compatible for upload to YouTube and submitted as an MP4 File. They should not exceed 20GB and between 4 and 8 minutes duration. 
  • Video to include  interviews, narration,  activity, images, graphics and  commentary
  • Video to include footage of the area, housing estates and facilities. 
  • Editing of content to “tell the story” and meet SICAP thematic requirements
  • Introductory Title screen, appropriate credits etc. as per SICAP guidelines.
  • Existing video/pictures material produced by the group
  • Final date for completion of video October 12th 2026.

 

Appointment Procedure:

Tenders will be evaluated on the information provided at the time of tender. Successful service provider will be notified of their appointment by Friday 11th September 2026.  

 

Information to be submitted:

Each tender proposal should include the following:

  • Individual/Company profile including personnel and resources.
  • Areas of expertise.
  • Methodology outlining the proposed approach to the work and how it is to be implemented
  • Fee proposal; tender should include a detailed breakdown of all costs inclusive of VAT.
  • Details of at least two previous clients who would provide a testimonial
  • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance

Tenders should be received no later than Tuesday September 8th 2026.
